Super- and Subscript at same position

Postby frostus » Mon Oct 19, 2009 11:30 pm

I need to do a sketch with variables that have a super- and a subscript at the same time.
I know how to do a super- or subscript with Alt+Up or Alt+Down. But then I only can write the subscript after the superscript.
Is there a way of having a super- and a subscript above each other?
In Latex I would write something like $K_x^1$...

If you use the kerning keys to move letters up and down without any letters selected, it affects all letters after the cursor position. But you can also select some letters by holding Shift and moving the cursor, and then the kerning will affect only the selection.

You can also control the letterspacing with alt-leftand alalt-right. SO select the first and alt-up to superscript it, then select the next and alt-down and alt-left to move it beneath the superscript.
