Just to be clear, you mean export to PNG? I can't remember what causes that, but I think it's something to do with the renderer, which has already been upgraded in the experimental 0.49, and soon to be released as stable. Sometimes moving the image by as little as a few pixels, making it larger or smaller by a pixel or 2, or changing the export dpi by as little as a point or 2, can fix that, as I recall. I know I once fixed it by flipping my image 90 degrees to export, and then flip it back using Windows Photo Viewer. But other members are more knowledgeable about that than me, and probably can give you a little more info about it. :D
