Howdy All!!! Looking for some help with exporting a SVG to a DXV. The SVG has some wide lines in it, and when exported, shows up in Autocad with multiple lines (that take FOREVER to remove). Looking for some tricks to get the export down to one line...
Thanks...and Take'er Eazy

Re: Help with SVG to DXF export...multiple lines
When making DXF drawings for laser-cutters or cnc, I usually set stroke and fill to none, and use Menu: View>Display mode>Outline.
Save copy as DXF, save original as SVG.

Have a nice day.
I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1
The Inkscape manual has lots of helpful info! http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/

Re: Help with SVG to DXF export...multiple lines
It must be an SVG that you didn't make yourself? Because you would not have drawn a wide line using a lot of individual lines, right?
Depending on how the SVG was made, it might be that the only way to do it, is to edit the SVG file, and delete the extra lines.
If you can provide the SVG file, we might be able to offer some insight
