Exporting to Illustrator ai

Postby faethor » Thu May 27, 2010 6:08 am

Hi all

Im pretty new in using inksacape and need to export my graphic to the Illustrator format. But, how can I do this? I've nothing found on the page.
Or is there another format for using to scale a graphic in a big size without loosing quality?

Thanks for your support :)

If the graphic is in SVG format, then you can scale away to your heart's content without affecting image quality.

Export to AI - I don't know, sorry. But you might find some helpful info in this topic thread:

It may be that if someone had both Inkscape and Illustrator installed, the conversion could be made. I'm not at all familiar with AI. My best guess is that it can be converted, but I'm only guessing. My other thought -- can the printer accept any other formats?
