Hyphenation & multiple pages

hyphenation & pages
Would it be difficult to add a hyphenation tool into Inkscape, one that works similar to that which is built into Scribus. I like Scribus. But I've worked with Inkscape so long I find Scribus less easy to work with for certain simpler projects that I can do quite quickly and simply with Inkscape.

My understanding is that the multiple pages feature is planned for release 0.49 - 0.50. Adding new features and having them not conflict with existing tools is trouble enough. But I thought I'd cast my vote here to encourage multiple pages development as soon as possible, for version 0.47 or 0.48.

Thank-you for your time.

Bob

What's a hyphenation tool?

The current version of SVG does not support pages. You can find more details about the developers plans if you follow the links within the above topic.

:geek: Well. According to my slide rule...

A function that would hyphen-
ate text that could use break-
ing up in a narrow column. If you check
out my quickNdirty News-
letter tutorial - the text looks
fine if it's left-justified. Ink-
scape offers full justifica-
tion. But it can look really
messy if hyphenation is not poss-
ible.

:P Left justified text is OK too. But the thread does say "Inkscape ideas".
