I'm in need of a way to import gerber files to inkscape and wondered if it was possible. I've tried converting a gerber file to PDF and then loading it but Inkscape doesn't like the resulting file (all other PDF software I have reads it ok). As gerber files are basically a simple text script, it shouldn't in theory be too hard to create an import tool, does anyone have any ideas how to do this?
