[SOLVED]Exported PNGs don't have transparency.

Postby 11clock » Tue Aug 02, 2011 12:54 pm

I'm using the Mac version of Inkscape. The problem is that when I try to export as PNG, the white box comes with it. I have the background's alpha set to 0, so why is this happening?

Are you sure you're using the Export Bitmap dialogue (Shift + Ctrl + E)? You won't get transparency if you use Save as Cairo PNG option.
