Postby umen » Tue Oct 07, 2014 4:56 pm

Hey
i was searching Google and saw mixed answered and not simple solution to batch export to defined path .
my steps
1. selected 10 rectangles
2.open the export windows
3.define path to export ( with it enable me define file name why ? i need path )
4. click save in the path/file selector window
5.check the "Batch export 10 selected objects" check box
6. click Export button
the result is i have only 1 rectangle ( i guess it the last one i marked then with numbers )

what is the correct way to batch export ?

Not sure how you got just that one (without other 9) but try to save your file first and it`s path would automatically show up in the export window. I believe this would solve your quest for other 9 ,)
:tool_zoom: <<< click! - but, those with a cheaper tickets should go this way >>> :!:

My experience of the batch select option is that all the options above it in the UI (i.e. all the bits that get disabled when you check the box) have no effect on the exported files. On my system the exported files are saved to the same directory as the original source file, or to my home directory if the source file has only just been created and not yet saved anywhere. Therefore I suggest the following:

1) Create the objects to export.
2) Save the file to a known location.
3) Select the opjects.
4) Open the export dialog.
5) Check the Batch Export box.
6) Click the export button and the objects should appear in the same directory you saved the file to in step (2).
