Problem when connecting lines
Hi, this is my first post. I'm currently learning how to use Inkscape, and one by one I'm trying to learn as many things as possible, but I have a problem: lately when I try to connect nodes the figure changes shape lines connects as they want, and that's very annoying because now I can't close a line anymore. Can someone help me please?

Avoid drawing with a path effect.
At the top, in the tool controls bar, select Shape: None.

Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!

You don't need to connect the nodes - just place them close to each other.
Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!
