Bitmap export crash

Postby Gate007 » Tue Sep 11, 2012 7:07 am

Hello.
I'm a newbie in Inkscape. I have created my city map by using Inkscape and openstreetmap export. But when I try to export bitmap at hight resolution I have a Inkscape crash.
SVG file: http://xn----7sbbao4bi7bte.xn--p1ai/try.svg
Inkscape 0.48.2.1
OS Win 7 x64 and Win XP x32.
Please, would somebody export bitmap from this file in hight resolution (about 300 dpi)?

Welcome to InkscapeForum!

I've saved the file, but at 13.9 mb, it will probably crash Inkscape on my computer, just to open it. I suspect it will take someone with more RAM than I have (4 gb). Plus, if you need the higher DPI, that will make it even bigger after the export.

But by the way, awesome work on the map!

v1nce, great, thanks!!! You have really saved me.
I,m sorry, but I have a mistake in initial post. I need an export at 900 dpi. Would you be so kind to do it?

I have installed Vmware and Debian. In Debian I have launched Inkscape and did all what I need.
Thanks to all, there are no more question.
