Hi, I'm fairly new to Inkscape. I was recently following a tutorial on how to create a font using Inkscape. I just have one problem...the software doesn't seem to recognize anything that has more than one pen stroke. When I draw a line, and assign it to a glyph, and hit the 'Get curves from selection' button, it works fine. But if I draw something with multiple strokes, it only recognizes the most recent line. I tried selecting all of the linework, and grouping it together. Once the letter is in one group, I tried 'Get curves from selection,' and nothing happens. I suppose I could just try to create a font using one penstroke for every character....but that would greatly limit my ability to design a good font.

Okay, I appear to have solved my own problem. After I selected all the lines, I went to Path -----> Combine. Works well!
