Unable to type hebrew characters

Hi,

I am using inkscape on mac 10.6. When I change the characterset to Hebrew on the mac and select a Hebrew font in inkscape I still get English characters. Can I use Hebrew in inkscape?

Have you tried to set the X11 preferences to follow the system keyboard layout?

Menubar at the top > X11 > Preferences > Input: [x] Follow system keyboard layout
