Well, I am having some lag with getting my posts up since I just joined today, but in the meantime I spend my free time to perfect the metalized look for my logo. After playing around with layers and filters I came up with this :
This is heading in the right direction imo
3 layers
I used a gradient for each individual letter with about 100 stops if not more, that took the most time to set up
I didn't find an option yet to save gradients, if there is one I hope I find it soon, I don't read manuals, I learn by using or from free tips
Any suggestions to improve?

For whatever reason your image isn't showing, I'd love to see the gradient with over 100 stops, wow.
While we can't save gradients, here's what I do as a workaround. I have a file where I have started saving the gradients that I like. What I do is create a rectangle (or any shape really) in the original document, then fill it with the gradient, cut the rectangle and paste it into the gradient file, you only need to save a small rectangle, so you can save many gradients in one file, and have many layers of gradients. Then, when needed just copy, cut and paste the ones you want into a new file.
