I just wanted to report slow loading pages today. I'm sure it's nothing serious, and that we should just be patient. I think it's fairly common for people to work on their servers over the weekends (or late at night). Anyway, the slowness is the worst I've ever had in this forum. At times, it's taking 3 or 4 minutes to load a page, and sometimes I have to try 2 or 3 times. I'm either getting time outs, or a server error. Ff gave me an error code, but I don't remember it. I'll edit in, as soon as I get it again. (It won't be soon, but it won't be long..... if that makes sense ) (i.e. it will probably happen when I try to post this, but who know how many times I'll have to try).

Anyway, replies not requested. Just fyi

This won't have had anything to do with my recent changes. So if it continues to happen, I may need to report it to my host.

On another note, you've posted this 4 times. One of the previous topics you started was posted 4 times also, but I deleted three of them. The post times span a period of 10 minutes. Is that something you are doing? Had they been much closer together, I might have suspected an issue with a MOD. But other users aren't submitting 4 copies of their topics (that I've seen).

Oh dear! I apologize for that. Actually, it's not "another note" -- it's the same note, lol. Here's what happened, in both this topic (which apparently was posted 4 times) and the other. After I would click submit, I would get either the server error (500) or a time out. I was assuming that the messages were not getting posted, so I would use Back button and try to submit again. Apparently they were being submitted, but I didn't know that.

I don't think it's related to the mod. It actually started around 3 in the morning. (I had been watching round the clock tv coverage of recent shootings where I live.) Around 7 am, I saw the reinstalled mod, and your message announcing it. So I surmised that the slow loading might have been related to you reinstalling the mod and fixing the Member List. After that, everything was fine, up until around noon or so, when it started again. By around 1:15 pm, I had had enough, tried 4 times to submit this one, and went to take a nice long nap, lol.

So, I apologize again. The next time I get server errors when posting a message, I will browse back to the topic page and refresh it, to find out if the message was actually posted.

By the way, this apparently happened to another member. I did find the same message posted 3 times, but I don't remember who it was.
