Hoping for some advice on what the issue might be.

I am trying to get a design laser cut. The general dimensions are 450mm (wide) x 225mm (high) - I measured it with Inkscape's measurement tool. I sent it through to a laser cutting company. Somehow, it translated to (approx.) 1100mm x 690mm on their computer.

The file is in .dxf format.

I want to ensure the company cuts the right dimensions, but am unsure why this issue occurred.

If anyone has any insights, I would be most grateful.

did the document originate in Inkscape or another program?

Also, please share a sample svg that has the issue.
