XICC support in Inkscape

Postby JonCruz » Sun Nov 25, 2007 3:32 am

Inkscape latest SVN now supports XICC.

http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php ... adjustment

So if one sets profiles for GIMP 2.4 to use, Inkscape will also use them. And it supports multi-monitor setups.

Please give it a look and see how it works.

Thanks.

How exactly do you set up or find an icc profile?

Looking at the GIMP page on Color Management in 2.4 http://www.gimp.org/release-notes/gimp-2.4-cm.html

Argyll and LProf are mentioned.

Using generic ICC profiles makes no sense, because displays are all unique. Best quality means calibrating and profiling your display yourself. Use LProf from CVS ;-)
