Hello,

I am an occasional (light) user of design and graphics programs, and I would like your input on the pros and cons of using graphics tablets. I am looking at Wacoms to use with the desktop machine, and a stylus (Wacom or Adonit) to use with my iPad.

Any real-world experiences you might want to share?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum, ttdraw :)

I haven't used a tablet, so I probably can't give you much helpful info.  I do know that a lot of people use them with Inkscape, and are happy with them.  And I know Wacom is a popular brand, with quite a variety of products.  But I also know of plenty of artists who prefer to use a mouse with Inkscape.  I expect Wikipedia can give you an overview.  And maybe others will have personal experience.
