Seems it was a tedious work. Now to add different fills for each ring? :-D

Off-Topic: show
Had been working on something a bit similar a while ago.

Not too tedious - I've done much more tedious work in the past.  The hardest part was getting the rings/chain links the right size to fit the endless knot.  Because that knot design is very specific.

Yeah, I thought about adding fills a little too late.  Because it started out as another coloring page, I was trying to avoid having any overlapping lines (because they look slightly bolder).  So the rings are made of 4 open paths, combined.  So trying to add color doesn't work.  I'd have to go through and close them all....and because they are circles, it would be hard to match the curves.  So it would work better to start all over.  Of course it would go much faster the 2nd time.  But so far, I haven't got the motivation to recreate it with closed paths.

Actually, if I made it with closed paths, I probably would not use a stroke at all.  And knowing me, I'd try to make it look realistic, with highlights and shadows  :@@:  Maybe I'll try it, we'll see....

Btw, I still have that other chain link kind of design, that I wanted to try and make it 3d, so that each piece contains the shadow and highlight.  I got distracted before, but I'll pick it up again, one of these days.  If I could make it work, I could probably use it on this one too.

Hhmm....actually, as I look very closely, I think I got some of the segments going the wrong way....

Edit
Oh no, they're correct.  That's how a real chain would work.
