I'm doing the tutorial in the manual under Quick start, Northern Pacific loge.
I've completed it except my outer circle has a gap in it which should not be there.
to make the circle, I first used the ellipse tool, then selected no fill and then edited the stroke to 10 px and color black.
It came out as you see in the screenshot.

ve had something similar and figured out what went wrong.

Switch to ellipse tool, and click on the last icon in its tool controls. It will make a circle or ellipse 'whole'.
