Hi Friends,
First, I should say that I haven't figured out exactly what the "Most Online" stats, (today and ever) actually mean.  But here early am, and we just tied our all time of (drum roll) 25, lol.  So I'm guessing we'll break it later today.

I have learned that it seems to be mostly impossible to get a precise visitor count.  I've looked at several analytics apps, and none of them ever report the same number of visitors, or ever agree on any stat.  So all the measures I've found can only be relative.  But relatively speaking, whatever Most Online measures, we're growing!   :clap1:

32 today.
Still something is missing.
The motivation to post topics and/or posts with lots of images for new members?

Inkscapeforum has so many registered users with no posts. Growing only in numbers is not the best.

Well.....yes, of course we would like to grow with active members.  I often wonder why so many people register at forums but don't participate.  Probably there are a lot of reasons, but I guess it happens in all kinds of forums....well, probably ALL forums, everywhere, afaict.  Active members are always a small subset of the membership, at least in my experience.  I know that some forum admins regularly purge their member list of inactive members.  And I probably will do that too, once in a while.

I do know that people are visiting and looking at Inkscape Tutorials page, and some are looking at our few hosted tutorials.  So I do feel successful with that part.  Although I hope more people will be interested in contributing tutorials.

I think our biggest challenge in getting active members here, is IF being so well-established.  I had hoped the gallery would help attract members.  But not many so far.

However, I remain optimistic!  :D

OMG, we're having some kind of attack right now!  My Piwik visitor count more than doubled in just 30 minutes.  It's been going on for over an hour now, and we're close to tripling our all time high!  It can't be human visitors.  I must be a bot, but not one that either Piwik or SMF recognizes.

I have no idea what's happening, but I'll certainly be interested to learn!
