Hi Friends,
It's just come to my attention, that clicking the IC Gallery tab, to get to the gallery, somehow causes IE and Chrome users to be logged out of the gallery, even though they are still logged in to the forum.  Doesn't happen with Firefox.

I apologize for that   :wink1: .  And I'm working on it   :hmm: .

I'll update asap.

Meanwhile, try accessing the gallery from this link:  http://inkscapecommunity.com/ic_gallery/index.php.  If it shows you as logged in, save it in your Favorites, and access the gallery from your Favs.  I'll have it fixed asap.

Lazur, was it working for you before today?  Or is this your first visit to the gallery?

You mean when you use the IC Gallery tab, you ARE logged into the gallery as expected?

I still can't be logged in with IE.

Did you clear cookies?  I'll try.....brb

Didn't clear the cookies.
I didn't checked the depths of the system to be able to tell where to log in to the gallery outside the forum.
So as I go on the ic gallery tab after being logged in to the forum, it still stays logged in in explorer now here.

Ok, I've fixed my problem as well.  Since I haven't used IE since I opened the forum and gallery, IE didn't have any cookies.  (I don't know why cookies aren't stored in a centralized location, so that any browser can use any cookie??)

I always thought just viewing a page (opening in browser) would give me the cookie.  But I guess not.  After I logged out and logged back in with IE, apparently I got the cookie.  Because now I stay logged in, when I use the IC Gallery tab to access the gallery.

So if anyone else encounters this problem, make sure you have a cookie in whatever browser you might be using (because the gallery uses the forum cookie, the way I understand it).  And you have to log out and log back in to get the cookie.

(I don't really understand why logging out and logging back in was necessary, because I WAS logged in, which as I understand it, I would have had to have the cookie to be logged in in the first place.  Idk, maybe there are more than 1 cookies??)
