 :?:Hi All,
I am Loriblackdog and I live in Florida, I have a carvewright cnc machine which allows me to import stl's in my machine.  I am new to both communities, inkscape and carvewright.  I need to make the attached picture, into I am not sure what I need SVG,STL or PNG.  I am really trying to learn.  If anyone has any help they can send my way, I would greatly appreciate it.  I learning by doing so either a video tutorial of written tutorial would really help me.  I look forward to my adventure with both communities.  Again, Thank you in advance.

Thank you
Loriblackdog :)

As I posted in your other message, Inkscape can't do this.  Try searching the internet for "STL Importer" and you'll find some information.  It sounds like you want to look for a graphics program called SketchUp which has an STL importer extension.

Yeah, maybe a year ago or so, someone else wanted to do this.  Different dog picture, but they probably wanted to do the same thing.  But this person, Loriblackdog, posted 2 messages recently.  The other is Inkscape Beginners board (https://forum.inkscapecommunity.com/index.php?topic=1284.msg8594#msg8594).
