Hi all,

Long-time happy Inkscape user here. Amazing software.

I successfully used JessyInk under 0.91. Tried it again on a new presentation with 0.92 and got some errors.

First error was fixed by applying the patch proposed here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1664554/comments/12

Now, the error I get when trying to export as JessyInk zip file is:

Quote (selected)
The JessyInk script is not installed in this SVG file or has a different version than the JessyInk extensions. Please select "install/update..." from the "JessyInk" sub-menu of the "Extensions" menu to install or update the JessyInk script.

which I don't understand, when I look in the XML editor I see the JessyInk script is definitely embedded (screen shot attached).

I went back to my old svg file where I had successfully used JessyInk under 0.91, and the only difference is that instead of saying "ns1:version 1.5.5", the old one says "ns0:version 1.5.5".

Has anyone gotten JessyInk export to work under 0.92? How did you get it working?

Welcome to the forum!

I've never used JessyInk before.  But based on the info you provided, it looks like you used a different version.  Did you try the suggestion to update from the JessyInk submenu?

I found a reported bug which sounds very similar to this:  https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1575595  Can you confirm whether this is the same problem you see?

Does Inkscape give you any result at all?  Sometimes Inkscape will display an error message, but then it goes on to complete whatever you asked it for.
