So I'm follow the nkscape For Beginners: Impossible Hexagon Tutorial and I'm at 3:10 and I'm suppose to duplicate and rotate images to create a circle with a gradient but when I move pieces the gradient doesn't work properly.

The other two images should be identical to the one in the middle.

Have I done something wrong to get this problem?

Not sure about the tutorial in question -haven't seen it- but I assume you didn't click the transform gradients with the objects button.

Quote (selected)
If you want a Gradient to transform with an object, you must toggle on this option using the  icon (Image removed from quote.) that is in the Tool Controls when the Select Tool is in use.

Welcome to the forum!

Geez!  It's hard to imagine a beginners tutorial with "Impossible" in the title!  If you could share a link to the tutorial, we could do more than just guess.

This appears to be the tutorial the OP is referring to.

Thanks GANGUS, it's nice of you to search.  I guess the op gave up on it, or maybe found help somewhere else?  If he comes back (or she) we can resume this topic.
